Magus flexed his eyes around the scene. Of course... he thought, I see what we've been doing wrong. "Magus, I think I see what's wrong." Marle said with a stutter. "I be thinking the same, my lass." Frog nodded his head. "I think we all do." Lucca gritted her teeth. "We need to hit the HEAD Reptite!" Everyone shouted. Crono looked around, and pointed at a Reptite. "Azala! Azala no good. Hurt Azala! Azala burn village of Ayla!" said you know who. Robo ran a computer search. "I have determined a rather well group of people to go and which to stay and fight off Reptites." He machanically said. "Crono, Ayla, Magus, and Frog shall go. I, Lucca, and Marle shall stay." "You got that, guys? Lucca, c'mon!" Marle smiled. Good luck, she mouthed to Crono. He smiled. The group approached Azala. Robo has deiscovered in his computer that Azala had seemed to excell in Fire Magic after Lavos fell in this Era. Since Lavos was killed in 1,999, his destruction flowed through the ages. Lavos was never here, it seems. "Very well. I see you have found me again, Ayla." "Azala no good! Call off Reptite! Reptites no good!" "NEVER!" Azala roared. "I shall never hand the Earth over to the apes you are!" Crono stared at Frog. Let's shut him up, he gestured. They charged at Azala, and crossed sword right as they sliced into him. X-Strike. He didn't mind. Magus used a huge Dark Bomb on him. He hardly noticed. Ayla leaped into the air. She smashed down, three times, using the Triple Kick. Azala did something very amazing, that would change this battle around. And you can obviously see... Not for the better. Azala glowed a bright red. Then orange, and yellow, and back to red. Rapidly changing. Until... He raised his hands.... And sent fiery flames, scorching the land, burning buildings. The villages, far away, saw the whole thing. They were not hurt. The fire spread 100 feet. 200 feet. 100 yards. He was killing Reptites, but didn't care. This fire... This fire was his rage. His rage. Ayla, Magus, Robo, and Lucca fell to the ground. It hurt, too bad. They just couldn't take the unbearable pain. Frog and Crono were closer to Azala, and were not as badly hurt. They fell onto one knee, but couldn't get up. Marle was more than 100 yards away, and just barely missed being hurt. She could stand fine. But how could she help from 100 yards away? Azala looked the scorched, burned plain. Ha, the thought. Destruction is good. He gazed at Frog and Crono, but couldn't see Marle. He assumed her dead. The rest of the fallen crew could only watch. "Who to kill first? Who should I kill?" He gazed at Crono. "You were the one....YOU were the one Queen Zeal told me about. How would you like to die again, punk-hair?" Crono gazed up at Azala. He wished he could get up, but he couldn't. "Serve me, and I shall free you." Crono looked around. He stared up at Azala's face. And spit into it. Azala was horrified. "Silly foolish BRAT!" He cried. "You will die an....extra painful death for that." He brought up his sword. Flames sprouted from the top. It was deadly. Crono was prepared to die. Again.
