Genisis

More Images

These are images from David Wood's Genisis, a book that explores many of the mysteries surrounding Rennes-le-Château. Check out the Genisis Geneset website to see an overview of the information in Genisis and its sequel Geneset.
Many thanks to Christy for sending these to me!

altar

The altar design of the church at Rennes-le-Château. Magdalene kneels in a cave with the persistent skull at her knees. Outside can be seen the Berco Petito and the arch feature of a rock on Berco Grando.

The gold tooth surrounds of the altar design carry the significant numbers of the mystery. On the left can be seen 14, representing the body of Osiris with the phallus removed. The main design is surrounded by 35 teeth showing that one has been removed from the pentagonal 36, but the 16th one from the left or the 20th from the right, is twice as large as the others. This suggests that 20 + 16 = 36 is confirmation of our interpretation.

La Tour Magdala

La Tour Magdala built by Saunière to house his library. It is situated at the left hand of the pentagram. (It is named after the castle Magdalo owned by Mary Magdalene.)

Les Bergers d'Arcadie (The Shepherds of Arcadia) by Nicolas Poussin, featuring the famous Poussin tomb which provided both geometric and numerical clues.

Poussin tomb

The Poussin tomb with the female head rock in the background. Photographed in September at noon when the sun first illuminates the face of the rock.

Château d'Hautpoul in the village of Rennes-le-Château. The d'Hautpoul family were supposedly one-time custodians of the secrets.

L'Hiver

L'Hiver from Les Quatre Saisons by Poussin.

Detail from L'Hiver (Winter) often referred to as The Deluge. (Note the serpent, Ark, and horizontal division of the moon.)

creation myth

The creation myth showing the boat of Ra traversing the back of Nut - goddess of the starry heavens.

Villa Bethania built by Saunière and named after the castle of Bethany owned by Lazarus, brother of Mary Magdalene.

Church of Bugarach

The church of Bugarach at the south-east point of the pentagram on the circle of churches.

Château Serres - built on the remains of an ancient château. An important intersection of the circle and the extended pentagram. It also figures in the final solution.

La Pique a distinctive feature near La Valdieu, used as a survey beacon and confirming the line of the pentagram from Rennes-le-Château to Bugarach.

Church of Cassaignes

The old church of Cassaignes, one of the pentagonal churches.

The author's suggestion as to the implied circular design of the Ark. The wings or labia enclose the vagina, below which is the box or womb.

The ruins at the place of the seed.

The small mountain village of Coustaussa showing the ruined château. In the distance can be seen Rennes-le-Château.

Coustaussa

possible configuration of walls

One possible configuration of the walls, which conforms to the 64 stones and the 'holy rule' that all in the temple is controlled by circular measure. Here there are angles of which the angels would approve. Note the position of the Meridian relative to the walls.

The Circle of Churches as depicted in Genisis. Compare the terrific gabeshot overlay by Nico Sels with the original gabeshot.jpg released by Sierra...now you can see what those 'hidden messages' really are.

pentagram

The pentagram in the circle of churches showing the perfection with which it was designed to coincide with the Paris Meridian. Note also the close proximity of the star points to the 15 equal divisions of the circle which control an extended pentagram of this type. It is also coincidental that the chord of the fifteenth part is almost exactly one fifth of the distance to Rennes-le-Château to the gate of the cemetary of Arques. The head of the female pentagram removes one part of the fifteen parts, leaving only 14 parts of Osiris which were found. Note also that compared to a regular pentagram where the legs would span one fifth of the circumference - these legs are opened to accomodate a quarter of it.
