Jane Jensen's Designer Diary at Gamespot has been updated. In her new entry (which is dated 12/07/97 in the index), Jane gives us an update on what designers call "real progress". Day 1 (of 3) is more or less playable, and the final level of polish is being applied to the earliest time blocks. She also discusses some of the new features that the programmers have added to keep up with the changing technology.
