" The Boku no Chikyuu o Mamotte Cast

Hereīs a picture of the seven maincharacters of Boku-Chikyuu. Itīs here to keep track  of  the characters and their previous lives. Please notice that there may be a spoiler risk here, if you havenīt seen the anime, or read the manga!! Ikimashou??

     Sakaguchi Alice (Mokuren):
The female main character of this story.
Alice is a very shy and quiet girl, who also has difficulties opposing to people. She is also very easy to tease, and she acts like a "cry baby". Because of her shyness and unability to oppose to people, she becomes the perfect target for Rin, her bratty neighbour, to tease.
When the story starts, Alice and her family has recently moved to Tokyo from Hokkaido, which makes Alice very unhappy and homesick. She doesnīt like Tokyo at all, all the noise, gas fumes, and so on makes her feel uneasy. She also feels that she doesnīt "fit in" in her new class, and no-one seems to notice her.
Aliceīs  name is a little different from the rest of the cast. Her name is taken mostly for the sound each kanji character yeild, not for the meaning of the characters. Most of the time, her name is written with the hiragana characters for "a", "ri", and "su" wich when put together, sounds like the western name "Alice". But, her name is sometimes written in kanji, and those caracters mean "asian", "pear", and "child".
But, why is a JAPANESE girl named "Alice"?? Well, the reason is explained by Alice in the first manga volume to her classmates, after getting plenty of chewing-gum in her hair by Rin. She tells them that her mother is a big fan of  the story "Alice in Wonderland"  by Lewis Carrol, and thatīs why she named her daughter "Alice".

Aliceīs seiyuu (voice actor) is named Shiratori Yuri. Other voices the Yuri has done are: the oh-so-gross Mokona (Magic Knight Rayearth), and Tsubame (Rurouni Kenshin).

Does Alice have any ESP (Extra Special Powers)?  Yes, she has. As youīll notice in the first anime episode of Boku-Chikyuu, Alice has the ability to "talk" with animals and plants. Alice states inthe first episode that she has always been able to talk to animals and plants as long as she can remember.

     Kobayashi Rin (Shion):
As an eight-year-old, Rin has difficulties understanding his feelings. One of those feelings he canīt understand is his love for Alice. He "explains" his love for Alice by teasing her, which makes her cry. Rin is a little nuisance, no doubt, but he is only eight years old!!
Rin and his mother and father are neighbours to the Sakaguchiīs, and Rin is more than happy to spend time with Alice, even though that feeling isnīt mutual.
Rin is also very stubborn, when he gets an idea in his head, nothing, absolutely nothing is allowed to get in his way.

Rinīs seiyuu is the VERY talented Touma Yumi. Yumi has a very nice voice, and some other characters sheīs done are; our favorite bitch, Hongou Yui (Fushigi Yuugi), and the very pushy goddess Urd (Ah, Megami-sama) ^-^ Thatīs my sister!!

Does Rin have any ESP? Yes, he has. Rinīs the one that probably has more ESP than the others. He has the ability to teleport, and to make electric energy balls. I donīt think that thereīs no limit for what Rin can do. His ESP appears after his fall from the balchony in the first episode of Boku-Chikyuu.

     Ogura Jinpachi (Gyokuran):
Here we have the "hothead" of the story... Jinpachi is a man of whims, and he has the tendency to overreact... A whole lot!! By doing this, he usually makes himself, and the person he is with at that time, very embarressed. But, other than that, he is very nice.
He feels something for Alice, love, that is, but he doesnīt know why at first. He feels as if he has met her before... Alice just denies this.
Jinpachi thinks that Alice and Rinīs relationship is odd, and tend to take distance from the little boy.

Jinpachiīs seiyuu is Morikawa Toshiyuki. Toshiyuki has also done the voices for; Pete (Ghost Sweeper Mikami), and Satomi Yoshinari (Hakkenden).

Does Jinpachi have any ESP? Yes, he has. Jinpachi canīt control it that well though. He is much like his former self, Gyokuran, on this subject. Jinpachiīs ESP isnīt shown that  much in the anime, but he has the ability to move people by focusing his attention and to point at the person in question.

     Nishikiori Issei (Enju):
Issei is the most interesting character in this series, because he has the strangest incarnation of them all. Issei was a woman in his former life, wich creates some problems....
Not only is he Jinpachiīs best friend, but he was the lover of  Jinpachi (well... of Gyokuran, really), in his former life. Because of this, Issei has difficulties giving up his feelings for Jinpachi/Gyokuran, and he is very scared that Jinpachi will see him as a pervert, so he keeps his feelings to himself. This is very difficult for him though, because Jinpachi always hug him and shows "feelings" that doesnīt mean anything.
Issei is the absolute opposite of Jinpachi. He is calm, and very softspoken, and he is a person that likes to plan ahead.
After finding Sakura, Issei becomes more open. Sakura helps Issei to realize that the past is the past, and the present is the present.

Isseiīs seiyuu is the one and only, the extremely talented Okiayu Ryoutarou. Ryoutarou has a SUPER voice, and he has made these characters unforgettable because of it; the very cute Matsuura Yuu (Marmalade Boy), and the neurotic Jinnai Katsuhiko (El Hazard).

Does Issei have any ESP? Yes he has. Isseiīs ESP isnīt very strong, but he is a telepath. He canīt talk to others, though, but he can hear sertain thoughts from people, and he can share his in a peculiar way. He is also my ABOLUTE FAVORITE anime character EVER!!

     Dobashi Daisuke (Hiiragi):
Daisuke works as the "mentor" of the others. Not that heīs older than them, heīs seventeen like all of them (except for Rin), but heīs been having his "moondreams" ever since he was seven. This makes him the ultimate resource for the others, and he answers all the other youths questions wisely.
Daisuke is very calm and dependable, much like his former self, Hiiragi.
BUT, Daisuke isnīt that easy to sum up..  I get the feeling that he was made by Hiwatari-sama after the others, because he doesnīt really do anything. O.K, he explains what happened to the aliens to the rest of the cast, but they would have had those dreams anyway after some time.
And... WHY doesnīt Daisuke have any whites in his eyes...?

Daisukeīs seiyuu is Tobita Nobuo. I donīt know anythig about Nobuo, except that he has done the voice of Hiiragi, Daisukeīs former self.

Does Daisuke have any ESP? No, he doesnīt seem to have any ESP.

 Kokushou Sakura (Shusuran):
After being "found" by the others, Sakura takes the place as Isseiīs "advisor".
Sakura panics very easily, overreacts sometimes, and seem to be very afraid of dying.
She likes to tell what other people should do, and when to do it, but she isnīt bossy really. Because of this, she and Issei tend to argue a lot in the manga...
Much alike her former self, Shusuran, she feels sympathy for Issei. Enju (Isseiīs former self) and Shusuran were the best of friends, and Sakura now feels sorry for Issei, being born as a man instead of a woman. She tries to help him sa much as she can, and she gets vey attached to him.
A little thing that I think is really funny in the manga; When they first meet, Sakura does a mistake..She is so eager to see Enju again, so she thinks that ALICE is Enju.... When Sakura finds out that ISSEI is Enju... well... you need to see that look on her face...

Sakuraīs seiyuu is Matsui Naoko. Naoko can get a *very* high-pitched voice at sometimes.... Other characters than Sakura that she has done are; our absolute favorite (^.^;;) ice-skater, Shiratori Azusa (Ranma1/2), and the "hologram girl", Akane (Kimagure Orange Road)

Does Sakura have any ESP? No, she doesnīt.

     Kasama Haruhiko (Shuukaidou):
Haruhiko is a very lonely young man, most of his lonelyness depends on his heart problem.
Haruhiko is very intimate with his mom, who knows about his "moondreams", and she also know about Mokuren, who Haruhiko constantely dreams about.
He has a friend in Tamura Kazuto, a man who he loves and respects. Haruhiko doesnīt like the fact that Tamura works for the Matsudaira family, because he take care of Takashi, an extreme problemchild. He feels rejected by Tamura when he spends time with Takashi and not with him.
Haruhiko has great values in life, he is devoted to the thing he does, probably because of his heart problem.
Haruhiko hates to get into trouble, but when he does, and faces an opponent, heīs not going to be the one that gives up, no matter what the price may be.

Haruhikoīs seiyuu is Yamaguchi Kappei. Kappei has a very nice voice, which he has put on; our heroic prince, Arslan (Arslan Senki), and little Tombo (Kikiīs Delivery Service).

Does Haruhiko have any ESP?  Yes, he has. Haruhiko has the ability to teleport, and to set up force fields, I guess thereīs no limit for what he an do. He rarely uses his ESPīs though, because when he does, his heat takes damage and starts to ache.
