NCBA invites you and your family/friends for an evening of entertainment in Rabindra-Nazrul Sandhya on June 19, 1999, at 7:00 P.M. at Binkley Olin T. Mem. Baptist Church, 1712 Willow Drive, Chapel Hill. The program will be preceded by a general body meeting at 6:30, and your participation in the meeting is appreciated. Dinner following the program will be catered by India Garden at a nominal charge: $ 5 for single, $ 10 for couples and $ 15 for family. Please, call one of the Executive members by May 31, 1999, to confirm your headcount for this occasion. Your cooperation in getting an accurate headcount is very important for cost-effectiveness of catered dinner.

NCBA also presents the renowned Kathak dancer from Calcutta, Amita Dutta on July 10, 1999, at 7:00 p.m. at PSI theater, located in the Durham Arts Council building (Royal Center for the Arts), 120 Morris Street, Durham. The price of the ticket is: $ 5/person for NCBA members (membership paid through 1999), $ 7/person for non-NCBA members. Please contact any of the Executive member for tickets. Please renew your membership for 1999 at your earliest convenience if you have not already done so.

NCBA is pleased to celebrate Tagore's Night on August 7, 1999, at 7:00 p.m. at PSI theater, located in the Durham Arts Council building (Royal Center for the Arts), 120 Morris Street, Durham. This event will present a tableau consisting of dance, songs and drama based on Tagore's childhood, performed by the children from the Bengalee community. This event is free for all. Please make every effort to attend and show your support for the tremendous enthusiasm shown by the kids in making this show possible.

PSI Theater, Durham From Raleigh: Take 1-40 West and get onto Durham freeway (147) towards Durham (Exit 279). Take Chapel Hill St. exit and turn left onto Chapel Hill St. Go through 2 lights. At the third light make left which will put you on Morris Street.

From Chapel Hill: Take 15-501 business past South Square Mall. Follow signs for downtown Durham. Pass Foresthill park. Veer left towards Duke Street. Continue on Duke street. Turn right at second traffic light. At second traffic light, make a left and this will put you on Morris street.
