Nothing new actually. I've been sick ever since Christmas so I didn't feel much like writing. But I did however build a few scenes in my head while trying to catch some sleep and such. I guess I should be able to seriously start Chapter 12 soon.

Oh, and I still haven't found a good title for Chapter 11...

Well, Christmas is nearly here. So, here is my gift to some of you: the Chapter 11's draft (those who what a final copy will have to wait for the next millenium).

Actually, to be honest, this isn't much of a gift. I think it's my worse chapter so far. Not that it's bad... it's just doesn't carry as much feelings. Well, you'll see... But for now, I don't feel like working on it anymore (having caught a bad case of flu isn't helping one bit) however I what to release it this year. So here it is.

As said earlier, Chapter 11 is going well. My pre-readers are currently going over the initial draft, helping me smoothing things out. Comments vary a lot. I guess I can expect half of you to like it and the other half to feel... uneasy perhaps.

Now, some news about fanfiction in general. Those among you who are Ranma fanfic fans might know about Krista Perry's Hearts of Ice. Well, after nearly one year of waiting, Chapter 22 of HoI is finally out!. You can find it on the Hearts of Ice homepage. I would also recommend to take a look at the first chapter of what would be her new series, Dream Eater.

For those who were waiting, the final draft of Chapter 9 is finally ready. For those who read the last draft, not much changes, only slight grammar changes.

I've also got back to work a bit on TOILI11 (as well as a few bits for TOILI12... the End is drawing near...), so T3B will probably be put on hold for a while. I will say however that I'm very pleased with the feedback on such a small "teaser" for T3B. I received a lot of suggestions and it all gives me a lot to think about. Just when I thought that for once I had a story completely planned... ^_^

Yay! 30,000 hits now! Wow! Never thought I'd have so much visits on my site. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside... thank you!

I'm also taking this occasion to present to you my latest project. It's only barely one page so far, but circumstances (in other words, someone else who wants to do a sort of spin-off off my idea and my actually release it before my fic would have been ready - I don't mind, but I want to make sure people know *who* got the idea first...) kinda prompted me to make it public. So, those of you who will be interested will be able to watch it grow. Each time I will write a significant portion of the fic, I will update the file on my site.

Two new addition today. First, a new TOILI side story by Sterry, WantingWanting. It's always great for me to see how many side stories TOILI has generated so far. Also, look at my pre-reader section to find the new chapter of Strangely Darkfic, by Godsend777 (I wrote a very small section in it, try to find it before hitting the author's notes ^_^ ).

A great new for EVA fanfic fans. Andrew is back!!! (if you ask who Andrew is, go read Neon "Genesis Evangellydonut") Finally, I can post the final draft of The Quiet Moments, the third installment of "The heart, the soul" (new name of the series composed of "I Mustn't Run Away" and "In Other Words"). I've been eager to do that for weeks! Ah, what a nice addition to my archive ^_^

Well, first I'm happy to say that my latest poll went very well. 98% people answered it and out of those, 31% said that they would dress as anime characters this Halloween. Way to go my fellow otaku! I know I had a big smile on my face each time I saw little kids dressed as Pikachu tonight (that was worth extra candy for them too) ^_^

Also, some of you may be happy to hear that very early this morning, I sent the initial draft of Chapter 10 to my pre-readers for C&C. The feedback has been very good thus far. Expect it on this page in a few days...

Starting tomorrow, I'm taking a few days off. First, I need to let my brain wander in order to build a scenario for Chapter 11. Also, I'm still in the first disk of Final Fantasy 8 and now, I've just bought Final Fantasy Anthology. It's time I get on it a bit! However, although I make no promises, I plan on releasing Chapter 11 before the end of November. I hope I can make it. My unofficial schedule (as I don't want the pressure of an official one) is: Chapter 11 in November, Chapter 12 before December 31st and the Epilogue in the new millenium.

I may have stopped writing (for a few days), but fortunately, some people haven't. Two additions to my personal archive. In the Pre-readers fics section, I've added a new part (Chapter 5.2) to "The Death of One" by Godsend777. I know some people will be trilled with this one. In the NGE stories I like section, I've added a new short story by Daniel Snyder, You Could Be Mine. Like some of his other works, people may find it a bit "controversial" but I personally like it... and this is my personal archive.

October 20th 1999

Well, finally, I've started seriously my work on Chapter 10. The general scenario is done and I have already 30 Kb worth of text written. There's only a small "problem". In a week, I'll be passing a test for a new job opportunity. So, for the next days, I'll more or less put aside anything fanfic related. Therefore, don't expect Chapter 10 until November.

Nothing new on my part. Didn't even write one word in the last days. Don't feel like it I guess...

I do have some news however. Slayers fans will likely be happy to know that Stefan Gagne (author of the excellent must read Slayers Reflect / Chaos / Rebirth Trilogy fanfiction) started a new series, Slayers: Demiurge.

It's a new original story, with no link to the Trilogy. The style is completely different, but so far, I've found it very interesting and intriguing. I hope Slayers fanfic fans will go take a look. The Trilogy inspired the HTML edition of TOILI, so if Stefan can get a few more readers with this little note, I'll be happy ^_^

As promised, a few new things...

First, the pre-reader draft of Chapter 9. I feel a few of you will really like it. And others will want to kill me. But remember that much can happen until chapter 12 is over...

I am also happy to present: The Clone Wars - a TOILI parody by Godsend777. I had a lot of fun reading this little piece.

Speaking of Godsend777, he finally opened his webpage, so I'm no longer the official host of his fics (even if I still host them). Also, I was finally able to see the complete version of the prologue of his new story Dark Tides Under A Black Moon. It's really annoying, because he keeps mentioning it, but won't say a word about it except "That is a secret". Grrrr!!! Well, I guess I'll discover it as it comes out. So far, it's... intriguing.

Finally, tonight also celebrates the public opening of SEELE, a new Evangelion fanfic review group. It's something I wanted to do, and also, the long period of inactivity of the The Evangelion Fanfic Review Syndicate made me realize that a second review group may be a good idea. So here it is...

Not much news, I'm afraid. Chapter 10 is progressing, but very slowly. At this stage, it still require a lot of mental work before I can get seriously on it.

Big surprise, the pre-reader draft of Chapter 7: Part 2 is now also available. Never thought it would go this fast. However, take note that chapter 8 will take a LOT more time to write. I've now taken over the In Other Words - An Evangelion Fan Fiction Archive for a period of two months. This involves reading fics submitted and looking for new fics, so I don't know yet how much of my time it will take. But very likely, it will slow down TOILI's production.

This day is a special one, since a project that meant a lot to me as finally achieved completion. As of today, For the sake of love and duty, a TOILI Chapter 6 side story by Godsend777 (known for stories like "The death of one" and "Is nothing sacred?") is finally available for all to see. What's so special about it you may ask. Well, for starter, I really wanted to see that story be written, ever since I finished the first part of Chapter 6. It's one of the few rare Touji/Hikari stories that exists and it's VERY well written, in my opinion better then TOILI is. A must read if you ask me.

August 15th 1999

Just finished Lunar Silver Star Story today! Damn I loved that game! Don't think I've been this excited about a video game since... well, I can't remember. I know I had been quite absorbed into Final Fantasy VII when I played it, but not quite like I've been hooked with Lunar. Great RPG, awesome anime cut scenes and excellent story (some things you can guess before they are "revealed", but a lot of things happened that I didn't expect one bit), just the type I love.

I also managed to make my DVD work (fixed a stupid mistake of mine). Yay! I'm now ready for Tenchi Forever!!!

Finally, some of you may be happy to know that the very first draft of TOILI Chapter 7 Part 1 is currently under evaluation by my pre-readers. Once most of them will have given my their C&C and I'll have made the necessary adjustments, I'll become available here. Just one week more, maybe two... In the mean time, I'm working on Part 2. However, there are many plots elements I have to come up with...

This has been a few quiet days on my part (even didn't answer my mail yet). Mainly because I just received Gally-chan, my new PC and I've been a bit occupied with transferring the data from Lina-chan to Gally-chan, as well as trying to make that DVD to work (too bad, for the first time, it would have been a flawless Win98 installation... guess you just can't avoid bugs...)

The final draft of "All I want is you", a Chapter 6 lemon side story by Jeremy Mullin, is finally ready. I've also finally worked a bit on chapter 7. If I can figure out what to do with one specific scene, I may actually be able to submit it to my pre-readers much sooner then I initially expected. However, there's still a lot of work to do and it's already clear that it will be a lot shorter then Chapter 6.

No significant news, except maybe that I adopted an Angel. "Lunar" is being a better game that I ever expected and I don't think I'll do much else then playing it until it's finished (that bastard Magic Emperor is gonna pay for what he did! Whahahahahahaha!). I don't think two new lines written in the last days for Chapter 7 can be called progress... Guess I'll have more to say when I'm done with "Lunar" (however, Final Fantasy 8 will be released soon...)

I'm back!

Ah, nothing like a change of live and scenery for a while. Had a lot of fun, got to see my good friend Carol, visited the highest suspended bridge in Quebec (quite a feat if you consider I'm scared of highs)... Also got myself a Pikachu and "Lunar: Silver Star Story"! (been looking for that PSX RPG for a while...) YAY!

So, some of you may wonder, what about Chapter 7? Well, not much really. I'm not through the whole mental process yet (where the story takes form in your mind). And with "Lunar"... don't expect the first part too soon (the soundtrack is so good! I can't wait to try the game!). Besides, I may wait for a little secret project by one of my trusty pre-readers before going forward with at least one of the scene of Chapter 7.

Well, the final edition of Chapter 6 is finally ready and will probably appear on the RAAC and other sites in a few days. Also new is a side story called "Tears" by Axel Terizaki, mainly know for his series "The Child of Love".

On another matter, I'll be out of town for a few days, most likely until July 26th. So, if you send some comments, don't expect an immediate reply.

Finally, I know it's totally out of topic, but last Saturday I've got a new Sailor V manga and felt the urge to make some scans. I just love the Sailor V outfit... So I added a very very small section to my Gallery (as shown by the example shown here).

If some of you had some problems with my "Pre-reader" and "NGE stories" sections, I apologize. I tried to move those sections to my XOOM space and it seems that XOOM doesn't work as good as Geocities, resulting in "broken links". To fix that problem, I've brought back these sections to Geocities and moved the "Gallery" section there instead. Since it's the less visited section (well, if we don't consider the "About the author" section) the impact should be minimized (and I actually gain more space that way). How long will I keep the Gallery up? Don't know. It will depend on the size TOILI (counting all three languages) will get.

First of all, I'll wish a good day to all Canadians on this July 1st ^_^

Since I'm on vacation today, I'll probably take a bit of time to make a few revisions on Chapter 6 part 3. My assistant on that chapter, Darren Demaine, again gave me many good ideas to improve my initial draft. While it means a bit more time before you can all see it, it means also more quality and a more interesting story (in my opinion anyway).

First of all, I'm happy to tell you that Chapter 6 is going well. There's a few adjustments to make, then it will be available in it's integrity (120 Kb so far... I'm amazed by such a size). Expect it in the beginning of July (not necessarily July 1st). Also, Chapter 1 is now available in Swedish. I'm quite impressed it came so fast. Great work Oscar!

Unfortunately, I'm currently on vacation, which means I feel generally lazy. So I don't work as fast as usual (or should I rather say "slower than usual"). To quote Shinji: sorry!

As for Part 3... I'll probably start to work seriously on it in a week or two. First, I've got to do some research (here you should read: watching NGE, the 5 first Fushigi Yuugi tapes I've recently bought and the 68 eps. of Marmalade boy I have - where did you think all the WAFF came from?)

So far, Chapter 6 - Part 2 is going well. A few things to change here, a few things to add there and it will be ready. Probably in one week, maybe two if things gets complicated.

For the sake of being fair, I've ordered and received today an Asuka wall scroll (yay!). Now, I can switch between this one and the Rei wallscroll I already have (can't put both at once, no wall big enough for that). That way, no one can say I prefer one to the other ^_^

I finally started to work on Part 2 of Chapter 6. I must say I am rather pleased with what I wrote, as wells as surprised. I've only written the first scene (five whole pages! wow!) and already Chapter 6 (unfinished) is as long as the entire Chapter 5. With all there is still to cover, Chapter 6 may become the longest chapter of all the TOILI storyline. That's good, because that makes more story to read. But it's also bad in a way, since it's gonna take longer to write... Well, at least I really feel like writing right now!

I was looking at my site, and realized that my main page was getting longer and longer with each passing week. So I decided it was time for a small change. From now on, only my work will be in the main page of this site. The rest will all be in distinct sections, on secondary pages. So, now, there's a few new links: the "Stories from my pre-readers" section, the "NGE stories I like" section, the " Fanfiction sites links" section, the " The picture Gallery" section (this one existed before) and finally a small "About the author..." section.

I've now polished things a bit, added a few things, some thanks to Darren Demaine, fanfic author (see his excellent work below) and great pre-reader. Konnichiwa! Today, I've (finally) got the fourth volume of the NGE manga. Being the Asuka fan that I am (no, that doesn't mean she'll win, I now love Rei-chan just as much as Asuka-chan) I'm still totally excited about it. It's just so excellent! I really hopes that the rumors about Sadamoto-san working on new chapters, after I don't know how much months, are really true. In my opinion, the manga easily beats the TV series.

After reading this volume, I feel more then ever that the events of TOILI could actually happen (doubtful, but it doesn't feel as much as much OOC as before). I feel like writing again (didn't feel much like it these past days). Maybe I'll be able to realease the pre-reader draft of Chapter 6 part 1 before June after all...
