Basic Flight Training:  Learn the rules of the skies and how to fly and navigate like the pro's.  Virtual Aloha Airlines endorses Virtual Flight Certifications from the following schools...

ETOPS Certification:  Extended Twin Engine Operations training and test.  Passing of the written test of 80% or better is required before extended over-water flight hours may be credited for filed PIREPS.

Type Certifications:  Learn the specifics of the Virtual Aloha Airlines equipment.  Passing of the written test of 80% or better, as well as a recorded check-ride will qualify the pilot for operational use of that type aircraft.

  • Boeing 737:  Type Certification will qualify the pilot to fly the Boeing 737-297, -400 and -700 in non-ETOPS Inter-Island flight.  ETOPS qualified pilots will be allowed to fly the -400 and -700 in ETOPS territory.

  • Boeing 777:  Type Certification will qualify the pilot to fly the Boeing 777-297 in non-ETOPS Inter-Island flight.  ETOPS qualified pilots will be allowed to fly the 777-297 in ETOPS territory.

Check Ride:  Required in-flight instructions along with the type certification written exam for operational use of type aircraft.
