Well, all I can say was that today I felt like I got hit by a Mack truck! I was sick since Saturday night with some kind of crud, which has now manifested itself as a really annoying post-nasal drip! I'm not sure which part of this has been worse - the dry coughing and feeling like I was hacking up a lung, or this annoying feeling of having a perpetual phlegm ball at the back of my throat! Aren't you glad you asked???:) |

Now whatever this crud is has moved into my nose, and I've spent my day alternately sneezing and blowing my nose. I wish I had something interesting to say about today, but I don't think folks really want to hear details about the color and consistency. Suffice it to say, I still feel like crud, and don't feel like writing much of anything. |

I guess I tried to do too much, because today I couldn't even get out of bed. I woke up at my usual 5:30am, tried to get myself together enough to walk out the door, and ended up calling in sick. Then, I stayed up for a while, and finally lost the battle with fatigue at around 11:30am. So, I decided to lie down for about an hour, and woke up at 5:00pm! Guess I really needed the rest, huh?

Today was better, at least I made it in to the office. I started my third reading of Silence of the Lambs by Thomas Harris. For some reason, this book fascinates me. There are very few books I've read twice, let alone three times. Call me weird, but I actually found some great graphics of Anthony Hopkins playing Dr. Hannibal Lecter that I'm going to use as wallpaper on my PC. I also found some neat websites related to both Silence of the Lambs and serial killers. (Okay, so I'm weird that way!) These websites are NOT for those who are sensitive about such things, so please...if psychopaths, serial killers and other related stuff freaks you out, do NOT click on these links, ok?
