Well, it looks like Hurricane Floyd has finally passed over North Carolina. Still, i have yet to hear back from my big sister shevette. She never did tell me exactly where she lived, but she said the eye of the storm would pass right over her, meaning she would probably be buffeted by the harshest of the winds.

At least now she has Rob to keep her company. i won't lie and say that i'm not the least bit worried about their relationship, seeing as how they've gone from total strangers to officially being engaged in less than six months. But if they're going to wait a full year for her to get out of school before they tie the knot, then that should give them the time to really find out whether or not this tidal wave of love they're feeling for each other is just a phase or really is forever.

Hey, i have a strong mothering instinct, what can i say? And i don't care if shevette is my older sister, i'm old enough to make my own decisions about these things! If shevette trusts Rob, though, that is good enough for me. i just pray that Rob will continue to do right by her.

i've still got some ideas cooking about how to finish the rest of the site. Since i'm not even close to the artist that shevette is, i'll be having her do a couple of drawings for me for the site. It's kind of odd for me because for once i'm going to be asking her to de-emphasize the bondage aspects of the drawings, but they should still be very cool drawings. i hope you all like them.

Wish i could write longer, but i'm a busy lady! Hope you all have the patience to wait shevette's imposed blackout through, and come back when the site is finished!
