Who is slave aeris? Well she's a friend of mine (and my sister in slavery) and i am going to help her find herself - or even himself! She was born a male about twenty some years ago, but now she believes she's really a female, and she's come to me for help in making the transition into womanhood.

She has a few things to get right and this is the place where she can do it. Like i said i am her friend and i am not slave aeris or her male counterpart. If it's important to you my name is shevette and i met slave aeris (which is not her real name) years ago by email. We have never met face to face.

To me, i don't see the need for sex change operations and cross dressing and such, but i am female and maybe this need for gender indentification just isn't the same. i don't know about that, but i do know that the person i am helping is a nice person that i care very much about her and if she is unhappy as a man (or a woman) then i want to help.

Don't put me down as a softie. i already see where this is going to call for some 'tough love' so i will restrict what slave aeris can do here. There may be some 'play time' or fantasy, but the goal is to make darned sure that slave aeris really wants to be a woman and that it's not some fantasy that feels good to dream about. She will find herself moving forward to the day when she either gets the operation and lives as a woman OR she will accept her identity as a man and fufill that role - one other option does exist; she could find herself to be androgenous. That means she realizes that she has a male side and a female side, and she's happy with that. Of the three choices, i think androgeny is probably the best for everyone. Of course we all know that "one size fits-all" is a myth!

Let's talk myths for a minute...

slave aeris thinks that since i am a woman that i can 'teach' her how to be one too - i don't think it works quite like that. i can teach her how to apply makeup and how to flirt, but i can't teach her the essence of being a woman any more than i can teach her how to be me. i can reach out as a friend though, and that's why i'm going to help her with this site. But i can't make it happen by myself any more than she can. We need YOU!

The way i see it is if a lot of folks wander into this site and help then she AND a lot of other people can make it. See, if there's one thing i have learned it's that giving is a whole lot like getting.

Why do i know about getting and giving? i'm a slave - a wanna be slave - a love slave. And if anyone in this world knows about giving it's got to be a slave - even a love slave. i give a lot and i get even more!

What's going to be here?

To learn how other people deal with gender concerns we are going to take advantage of how GEOCITIES is layed out. All of WestHollywood is either gay or transgendered or sexually related. We are going to walk through EVERY address in this comunity and see what we find. What we learn will be put here and links will be given to the best sites, sites that are serious about dealing with gender issues.

We are going to find self help sites and report what we learn and give links to the best. These will be sites that deal with gender issues, dressing as a woman, behaving like a woman, and places that a friendly to the cross gender comunity.

We are going to list clubs and groups and interact with them.

We are going to see what information we can find to post from professionals in the field.

We are going to find out what the limits are - "Are the operation and hormones really the answer?"

We are going to encourage others to contribute (that means YOU!)

We are going to be positive, intellegent, and positively productive.

And we are going to have fun doing it!
