Actually, I was so busy shooting the jumps and the Skier Cross races, that I didn't get many pics of the mountain terrain itself. But we came here to ski - and ski we did. The mountain and surrounding area, like most ski resorts in the Rockies, is beautiful. We had good snow, good weather, no lift lines and miles and miles of trails to ski. There's also cross country skiing nearby. Check out the photos for more of a feel of the place.

Here's something you don't see in many lift lines
A view from the Lift. Notice fresh tracks and no crowd - a true luxury for someone from the East.
It's not all pretty - Condos on the mountain, while not projecting the most pristine of scenes, do provide an interesting graphic effect.
And there's plenty of cross country skiing in the area. This scene is on the way to a ghost town called Gothic. It's just a short distance from Mt. Crested Butte.
