Here's the pic of the day. That's Dale Earnhardt coming out of the
"dingweed" as I described it to EJ. It was a fun part of the day for me because I got to bust on my son abut his favorite
driver. His car made it through undamaged. Every time he would come to that corner I woudl tease him

To be honest with you these are pretty good seats to watch the racing. It also produced some pretty good action. I am pretty
sure that 3 other cars left the course here.
One person who never made it to turn 10 was Bobby Labonte. Certainly not one of
his favorite tracks Watkins Glenn certainly chewed up his main car for the race weekend. He had no choice but to go to the
back up car.
Here's the reason I went to the practice. This is my little boy EJ and he was a very
good boy and did some major walking around that 2.5 mile race track!!! The picture of him sitting is in the turn 10 grandstands
(see above). On our way back to the "S's" as they are called I decided to snap a picture of EJ behind the grandstands. As I
said he was real good. By the time we made it to that grandstand behind him it started pouring rain and it halted practice for
some time...but what they did was a rarity....they brought out the RAIN TIRES!!!!
