Product use: Down hill tires
What I heard: Every other person who races DH uses it, including endorsement from team Cannondale, Iron Horse and Shaun Palmer for the 96 season.
What I found: The ones in the photo are the new set which I just got, but I've had my first set for more than a year now, I love them! I ran these treads for a full year, not a single flat the whole year. Cornering on them are amazing! Just lean!
Update 29-11-97: I'm still in love with these tires! Just can't get enough of them! I have been trying the Specialized Fear master and Fear control tires, and it's great, I like them better for mud, since the missiles pack up too fast in muddy condtions. But in dry hard packed dirt, you can't beat the missiles!
Any problems?: Now if IRC could cut some of that weight... I know it's Dh tire, but still! Dh doesn't have to be heavy!

Product use: Shift your gears.
What I heard: It's XTR! What the hell do I have to hear about to buy it!
What I found: I hate to say this but, I seem to like the XT and lower ends ones better... The click is a little too mushy for my taste. But I'll keep it 'cause it's XTR.
7-10-97now after a while the XTR is actually better than the lower end stuff...(yeah no shit!) the action is light, smooth and does a good job shifting!
Any problems?: Excluding the fact that I find it O.K., then nothing!

Product use: Killer stem for your control center.
What I heard: Kore stem is the best stem around! Period!
What I found: Kore stems are not new to me, I have two other kore ahead lite stems and they are great, but one problem with the ahead lite is that fitting a riser is a major pain in the ass. With me changing bars every other day, the Elite is a great investment! With all of the good constructions from the ahead lite, with a easily removable front clamp, this stem is rad!
Any problems?: Too early to say, but I haven't encounter any problem with the ahead lite, so let's hope it's trouble free with this one too.
Update 28-11-97: This slivery powder has beenm coming off the stem every now and then, it not a big deal, but it is annoying! And it does make me wonder if there is something worng with the sand blast finish on the stem... but it's cool right now.

Product use: It's a damn seat! You sit on it!
What I heard: Haven't heard much, it just looks good.
What I found: Like I said it's a seat that looks good. It's just like the normal Ventura Comp.
Any problems?: None right now.

Product use: Seat post to hold your seat where it should
What I heard: Good construction, though post.
What I found: I got the Elite Post for the single reason that it was a good deal. If not for the deal I'd have the Answer Rocker post right now. But the Elite is nice and light.
Any problems?: May not be long enough for some riders.
Purchased date: Fox: 10-07-97 / GT 18-07-97

Product use: Something to cover your gut.
What I heard: Shaun Palmer rides with Fox and Mike King, Steve Peat rides with GT stuff, so what ever!
What I found: The wear good, nice fit, cool colors.
Any problems?: The GT Jersey ziper sucked, literally! I can't get it open all the way!
