With the summer ending Comes the start of a new beginning One of colors of oranges and yellows Only to make one feel more mellow Awakening in the dawn of a cool, crisp morning Leaving the soul refreshed for the new beginning  Cindy |
But love never dies with the setting sun With Summers end we've just begun To warm in the wonder of enchanting sighs As the days grow shorter under darkening skys Valerie |
Where has Summer gone Winter is on the way Days are no longer long I long for a Summer day But winter will pass Spring will come again Flowers will bloom A new season begins Jim |
When the crisp cool air hits you in the face you know fall will soon be in it's place knowing of the snow soon to come at that time fall will be done but, as the fall still surrounds you make sure you take in the beautiful view Bill |
All those dumb leaves falling down I'm gonna hafta rake the ground The days are short the nights are long This season's dreary... am I wrong? It won't be long till snow comes down So I guess I'll move to another town |
Autum is here for awhile Festivals are all around There is still time for a great smile Before winter snow is on the ground Cool evenings, a campfire with friends Hot dogs,hamburgers and laughter abound Jim |
I agree summer has such splendor While winter cold it does render An aching deep in my soul That only the sun can make whole. Though the “in between” is bittersweet As each season makes the other complete. With Fall, in her hues of red, orange and gold >From a mountaintop she sparkles, oh so bold. And from her comes the blanket of white cleansing the earth in a glorious sight. Until Spring comes around And washes the ground Making its way To brilliant summer days. The cold, crispy air, The large, crunchy leaves, Roasting logs, Ah, how this air I love to breathe.
The summer's over,
The leaves are burning, |
The sun is shining, the air smells so sweet, how I love the grass to crunch 'neath my feet Jen |
Roses are red, violets are blue. I like Halloween, don't you? |
The harvest of crops brings The end of a growing season Holiday bells will soon ring A joyous new season Thanksgiving is very near To give thanks for all we have Remembering loved ones not here A time for kids, moms and dads Leaves of orange and red abound Pumpkins carved with smiling faces Stalks of corn all around People travel to many places For turkey dinners with the trimmings Young and old with smiling faces All praying for new beginnings Jimmy |
The blessing of each snowflake individual as we are all a snowflake God has created us all different Oh to joy the blessings of being different Duane |

Although I feel the same sun shining in my window, | every morning I wake up to see another sun over me.. dreams that will not become true anytime just give pain but it is the hope that you live for... The nature seems bright some day but when you feel everyhing is gone you see the sky as dark as at midnight in the very early daytimes. I could live without autumn | when the season comes I feel I've hit bottom the leaves the dead looking trees the cold the deer on the road then finally yellow snow if I could I would sleep all season like a lil' bear and when I rise there would be flowers everywhere ANNAMAL
I wish summer was here instead | of fall to me this is the worst season of all it's too windy for me and I think it's kind of cold. Dee
