Our third Monday and our first one in a new city. Well maybe not a city but a conglomeration of people anyway. The kids were pretty good. No wait. They were great. A few problems but that's to be expected. The one that threw me for a loop was one kid that didn't want to come in because he was shy and/or scared. But he showed up by lunch and everything was cool after that.
Phil and I had the van packed with the stuff we didn't need anymore, the rest of the workshops ready to go so we played football 21 while we waited for Swap to close up.
We got home and I went into the lake for the second time today (Laura and I went for a morning dip). I could have stayed there forever but the base called me. I walk up the main porch and Crash damned near had a heart attack when she saw me. She was really surprised. So Jidge and I talked for a while then Don and I chatted. He offered me a job and I had to say no. If I didn't care about Science North (I still love the job) I would have been leading a trip by tomorrows journal entry. Instead I came home, wrote Andrea, did the journal for today and I plan on reading a few chapters then bed. 6:00 comes was too early.
