Q:What are some ways of retrieving a lost hamster?
A:First, don't panic! This happens to every hamster owner at least once. Close all the doors and windows. Pick up any clothes on the floor and inspect them. Look in show boxes as well. If you still can't find them, leave a little food in every room and close all the doors. The next day, see which room has food eaten. Search that room! Another trick you can try is to find a bucket(high enough so your hamster couldn't climb out of it, and short enough so you hamster wouldn't get hurt if it fell into it). Then use some books to create stairs leading up to the top of the bucket(or other large container). Put some food in the bucket so that when the hamster climbs up the stairs and sees the food, it will fall in and get trapped. Good luck!
