[340] From Ireland to Canada. The assumption that Richard and Mary
Ann (McCann) Temple's first immigration was in 1855 is based
simply on the fact that their first child was born in Ireland
in 1854 and their second in Hamilton, Ontario in 1856.

[341] 1871 Ontario Census for Wentworth County (Hamilton area) shows
Richard age 50 born in Ireland, was methodist and a farmer.
This was in Glandford Township. (Dist.22, subdist D, Div 1,
page 6)

[342] From Canada to US in 1870. However they show up in Canadian
Census a year later. Her father (Robert McCann), husband,
first child and herself were born in Ireland. Her first child
is listed as being born in Wexford County, Ireland.
