Unravelling a series of extremely cruel murders, the VCTF has to investigate a death row convict for his influence in the killings. Jack's new toy is a fan with pictures of Sam's loved ones on it. The spin will determine Jack's next victim.

Sam: "Did you ever wanna have kids?"
Grace: "Yeah, I did, but my ovaries they had other plans. But you know I got the last laugh. I raised three poodles who think they are kids."

Sam: "Look at that. Ronnie McDern fan club." (hands him a picture of a woman)
Bailey: "You'd think she'd touch up her roots for the picture if she really cared."

The actor playing Ronnie McDern, Gary Stretch, was brought back in the second season as Sam's probable new love interest, Rick, in "Bloodlust" and "Cycle Of Violence".
There is a poster of Traci Lords on one wall of McDern's jail cell. The poster is on the wall behind Robert Davi during most of the scene, but it's there.
Jack's roulette wheel was given to the Planet Hollywood restaurant in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, to be hung on the wall. Whether the wheel is displayed there is unknown to me.
