I guess you're probably a Chopin's lover ;-) after playing those 27 Etudes by Chopin, you probably ask for more music of that type -- here you go. Godowsky managed to transcribe all Chopin's Etudes, composing "the most difficult piano solo pieces ever".

"Chopin's etudes are inverted, laid on top of one another, or made into variations. Nowhere is Godowsky's ingenuity more apparent. The resulting pieces are among the most clever, and most difficult, ever written for the piano." (quoted from www.godowsky.com)

If you know where to find the missing Godowsky's Transcriptions in midi/mp3/sheet, please tell me the link. I'll link to that location and give a credit on you.

Music Score Exchange:

I am looking for *rare transcriptions* of any Chopin's pieces, Liszt Etudes / Hungarian Rhapsody, Beethoven / Mozart sonatas etc

I could exchange my various Minute Waltze transcriptions (there are 10+), or Chopin-Godowsky Waltze, Chopin-Hamelin, Liszt-Horowitz or some other rare sheetmusic for this, or even Godowsky Etude Videos (in the computer)!!!!! Please contact me via mail if interested.

Short Term:

Will prepare a document on Godowsky Etudes, from various sources like Editor's note from the sheetmusic, Hamelin's comments on his CD booklet, my comments on each Etude including difficulty etc. (now 16 pages completed; still more to come)

Long Term:

Since the original is in large print I am working on printing them with size of 85% of the original, and prepare for the sheetmusic again for the complete collection. This is the progress (it will take dead long!!!!):
