My name is Kathrin Schumann and I live with my boyfriend and our rabbits Sammy & Barney and guinea pigs Knöpfchen and Fluffy in the capital of Germany - Berlin.
I've been loving musicals for 10 years now and have first seen Alistair when he was MARIUS in Les Misérables in December 1994. He was my first Marius and (no need to say ;-) ) the best and lovliest Marius of all. What I'd give to see him in this part again!
About one and a half year later I got to see him again - in Tommy - which had by that time become my alltime favourite musical because I'd seen it dozens of times in Germany starring David Shannon. The London production was just as excellent and I loved Alistair's way to play CAPTAIN WALKER. When the show closed in February 1997, I was very sad but fortunately, they brought it on tour a few months later and I got to see Alistair again in Woking. Another one and a half year later, Alistair was in Forbidden Broadway which is the funniest show I've ever seen. Although I loved the show in the cosy Jermyn Street Theatre, I was happy when they transferred it to the Albery Theatre to present it to a larger audience.
This is - so far - the last show that I have seen Alistair in. I didn't make it over to see him in Pride and Prejudice , and The Secret Garden shut its doors before I was able to see him in it. I was, however, told that he was great especially singing A Bit of Earth Reprise and understuyding the part of ARCHIE CRAVEN.
