    Elizabeth Davies: Captain and Commanding officer of the USS HERACLES. A SPARTA-class Frigate based at DS 101.
    Dergrad Empire: A xenophobic race who spend most of their time fighting with their Alien neighbours. The people are commanded by an Emporer and a team of advisors. The judicial system is harsh on offenders. The Dergrad initiated hostilities with the Vurtedion Federation.

    The Maquis: A group of terrorists who call themselves freedom fighters. The Maquis was formed when the treaty between the Federation and the Cardassian Union handed several colonies to the Cardassians. The Maquis claim the Cardassian Union treat them unfairly and have resorted to terrorism to settle the score. The Maquis consist of members of the colonies aswell as those who sypathised within Starfleet.
    Recently a group of Maquis have renounced the violence and set up home in the Amgine Sector in the M'Sagro System. When discovered by Starfleet this group of Ex-Maquis agreed to help in setting up a colony on M'Sagro III.

    Nebula Dwellers: An unknown race rumoured to reside within the Amgine Nebula.

    Ruane, Graeme: Former CO of DS 101, the Cocoon's remotest Station in the Amgine Sector. Ruane was found to be a Founder a year after DS 101's discovery.

    Terkow, Herun: Admiral and Commanding Officer of the HEC'NU, the newest vessel contructed by the Dergrad Empire. The vessel is built with a Qutronium compound rendering it invisible to poor sensors.
    Tirca: Self proclaimed 'Admiral' of the Dergrad Rebel cult that has desrupted traffic in the Amgine Sector claiming to be engaged in a holy war with the Vurtedions.
    Tirca was responsible for taking over the Dergrad Flagship, the HEC'NU, which was later recovered by the crew of the USS CURIE.
    Tirca soon gave the CURIE the location of the Cult's base.

    Vurtedion Federation: A peaceful scientific race forced to war with the Dergrad Empire after their Territory was invaded.

    Datun Yanten: Commodore, Fleet XO of Cocoon Fleet and Commanding Officer of the Flagship USS ROANOKE a SOVEREIGN-class Starship based at DS 101.

    Z'Dark, Zahn: Captain and Commanding Officer of the USS CURIE, a Feynman class Starship assigned DS 101 as it's base of operations. This is the second vessel to bare the name.
