Matthew O’Conner was born in Belfast to Thomas O’Conner and Shella Quigley. They left the island about two years latter right after Matt’s brother James was born. While they were young the two brothers had always had and interest in their homeland. They kept an eye on what was going on for as long as they could remember. They planed to join the IRA soon after they finished college. There plans were rudely interupted.

It was a cool summer day in June. When Matt came home and found his parents brutally murdered. His Uncle was missing from the house. Matt would later find out that his uncle was Garou and died defending the kinfolk. James was also missing. Matt followed the trail that remained to Ashland.

In Ashland he found his brother’s body. James has died in a battle with an infernalist. After the burial in the Dark Heart forest Matt had his true nature revieled to him. This gave some comfort to his grief. He later found a gift from his brother. It was a Grand Klaive that belonged to the brothers’ Great Great Grandfather. He was known in Ireland as The Emerald’s Vengence. He now welcomes the acceptance of Erin’s Sweet Revenge, and will work as one of its Philodoxes.
