Let me whisper the dark of life on the Planes to ya.  Here's how it really goes:

Since Dathrac fell, the powers have been in turmoil.  A bunch of them are in the dead-book, and a couple new ones have arisen.

And that ain't all.  There's this faction, The Endless Knot, that vanished hundreds of years ago, and they're back.  They've taken up residence in the Lady's old palace, and seem to have some relationship with the Dabus.
