Titous is a lawless frontier world. The majority of the world is covered with water.  Watercraft and Aircraft are the chief forms of transportation on the planet.  The world of Titous is speckled with small island communities. These island communities are ruled by no more than gangs and thugs who have the finances, the forces and the weapons to rule over those on their Island.  Trade among these gangs is common and the occasional fued.  The largest population is on the island of Nesmia that also hold the starport.

Titous is a Non-Industrial world counting on imports from other worlds for most of its goods.  This world like aldeberan has little laws, Taxes, or
restrictions so has become a virtual Black-market for certain stolen goods.  The Islands and Wonderful tropical climate have also attracted tourists for that wonderful get away place and its adventure like atmosphere has also brought many a hunter on safari.  Although the planet is ruled by gang factions war often never involves off worlders as even they know this effects trade.

Titous though technologically low does considerable trade the exotic fruits here are plentiful but expensive but fetch even a higher price off world because of their quality and taste.  Artists litter the islands and produce a wide variety of artwork from pottery to fine jewelry and these also sell off world.
