Sheriff Hamilton's background: orphan, discovered in Albanian forest in 1943; physically adept,
but could not speak except for a few grunts; brought to this country, locked in a cage because of his ferocity, he would devour chunks
of raw meat and terrify onlookers; ran away, roamed about for a few years performing non-descript jobs; finally arrived in
Gibsonton and spent four terms as sheriff. He had suffered from hypertrichosis, but not denoting lycanthropy.
Mulder and Scully find that Sheriff Hamilton buried a potato. He buries the potato because of
his warts; herubs his hands on a slice of potato and then buries it under a full moon (a hint that this episode occurred near March 15
of 1995).
