Able to transfer his essence to any living creature, his Devine Shadow has been transferring from one human body to another for thousands of years. At the end of each reign he is transferred to a new human host while the brain of his former host is removed and preserved as a Devine Predecessor. His shadow will stop at nothing to retrieve the Lexx and the Devine Predecessors.

Being former Devine Shadows, Devine Predecessors are brains kept alive to advise the current Devine Shadow. They are also a source of power to His Shadow. All of the Devine Predecessors were aboard the Lexx when it was stolen by Stan and Zev. One of these living brains used to be the "Devine Shadow" that killed Kai 2008 years ago. Kais memories were restored when he crushed the pulsing organ between his fingers.

Using a "Bugbomb" that was hidden in his nose, Thodin was able to escape from the Clusters detention center. His body had hidden a few other cool toys that nearly helped him to defeat Kai.

Also known as "The Wicked", Giggerota was sentenced to execution for Cannibalism but was released by Thodin. After dining on body parts meant for feeding Lexx, Giggerota escaped The Cluster on the Lexx with Stan and Zev. After surviving her first encounter with Kai, Giggerota made a deal with the Devine Predecessors to help steal the Lexx in return for a "milk fed boy" with bone marrow she could suck for days.

After doing a few too many Kaboo flowers, poet man was left behind when his planet, Brunnis, was evacuated. The evacuation was necessary due to the imminent supernova of their sun. During his last lonely days on Brunnis, Poet Man was able to reprogram the holographic guides as well as set up a few surprises for any unsuspecting guests.

Formerly a Commander of garbage planet "Klaagya", Bog was implanted with a Satellite worm by the beautiful but deadly Wist. Under the control of Wist, Bog is the chief operator of the Pattern making machine. Pattern is made from human body parts and is the food needed by Wist and her parasitic worms. Without pattern the worms will consume the brain of their human host.

Beautiful and deadly, Wist is the queen of the satellite worms on the garbage planet, Klaagya. With her supply of pattern (a liquid made from human body parts) fast running out, Lexx and his crew were, for her, a welcome site. Zev was scanned by Wist for the purpose of creating a daughter in Zevs image to send with the Lexx.

One of the eight acolytes of the Devine Order chosen to oversee the birth of the Gigashadow, Yottskry discovered the ultimate purpose of the gigashadow and died trying to stop it. He was reanimated with protoblood and possessed by his shadows essence. A battle for control of Yottskry's body ensued.

After consuming millions of gallons of human flesh, transferring the essence of His Devine Shadow was the final step in Gigashadows birth . Lexx was supposed to be the final weapon needed for His shadow to commence with the cleansing of the light universe. The "cleansing" was meant to kill every human in the universe. After the Lexx was stolen, the "cleansing" was begun early and was not completed.

Being the first life form it seen, Squish assumed Kai was its mother. Squish, being a baby Cluster Lizard, loves brainfood (literally). Squish becomes a major factor in defeating the Gigashadow.

The Devine Orders most brilliant Bioviseer(sp), Mantrid is a human head attached to a floating mechanical body imprisoned on an empty planet by the Devine Order. He has control over numerous floating artificial arms that will do his bidding.

A space faring plant creature, Lyekka becomes friends with Stan and does him and the other Lexx crew members an enormous favor by bringing Zev back to life as Xev.
