Julia Ecklar's CD, Divine Intervention

This album originally came out in the mid-1980's. It was something of an enigma, in that this was the first time a solo singer had anything like an orchestral backup or any orchestra sound on it. It grabbed my attention, not just because Julia is a fantastic singer, but that the tape sounded so professional! Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed all the filk music I'd heard up till that point, and I still do, but this took the genre to a new level, one which wasn't seen much since then until Jeff and Maya Bohnhoff.
