Cutter gained the best qualities of both of his parents, Bearclaw and Joyleaf. From Bearclaw he may have gained a hot temper and ill manners, but he also gained fearlessness and strength. And from Joyleaf he gained patience and wisdom. He is still young by elf standards but he leads his tribe well and they would wish for no other chiefs.
His best friend and chief council is Skywise. They have shared many a scrape together and each one would gladly trade is life for the other's. His beautiful lifemate is Leetah the tribe's healer, and their twin children are Ember and Suntop.
