The story so far: Captain Archer's first year as captain of the Enterprise has been fraught with troubles, but he's come out of it fairly well, despite uncovering underhand dealings by the Vulcans and meeting such powerful forces as the Klingons and Andorians. However, he has made a major enemy out of the Suliban, a race currently fighting a temporal cold war in which the captain has inadvertently become involved. In fact, while making efforts to save his ship from Suliban attack with assistance from a crewman from the future named Daniels, Archer and his subordinate have been catapulted into the 31st Century, where they are now trapped…
