2003
is the year Jake and I seriously started to consider where we might like
to retire! We believe we may have found a place that suits us
called Bella Vista, AR. It
is in the northwestern corner of AR on the border with Missouri.
Jake will
one day hopefully spend many an hour fishing and playing golf in this
area which also happens to be near the corporate home of Walmart.
It
was our pleasure to visit with the Jacobsons in
May on the occasion of our niece Helen's wedding in the mountains above
Boulder. At Thanksgiving,
we headed to the East Coast for a Cleveland family reunion and
celebrated our brother-in-law's last football coaching experience.
He will be retiring at the end of this year.
The
children continue to do well and are settling into
married life. Jake and I
count the number of
days until the next big events of our lives!
