Inna Antonova and Svitlana Slivinskaya are thirteen, and they boast similar all around strengths. Eleven-year-old Eva Dorchenko is a prospect for the national team, with a riveting charm and personality. Returning from a heel injury, former junior standout Olga Zorich is also traveling to New York to compete in her first senior international meet. Ireland Team News: The Wicklow Gymnastics club will be represented in the United States by 7 gymnasts. The girls from around the Wicklow are range in age from 13-19 and this is the first major international meet for some of the younger, up-and-coming Irish stars. Thirteen year olds Bernadette Mangan, Tessie Mulligan, and Mary Margaret Sullivan will make their first trip to the United States. The girls will compete in the junior 14-15 year old division as they were born in 1993. The same three competed last year at the Russian Teams competition in Siberia and are looking forward to another international event. At the 2007 Celtic Cup Tessie was the Republic of Ireland's top junior scoring placing 7th overall and 1st on vault. Mary Margaret Sullivan, younger sister of Irish world team members Katie and Ailie Sullivan, placed 1st on beam at the event. The senior team is comprised of 19 year old former world team members Katie and Ailie Sullivan and 17 year olds Josie Kerry and Neala Shaughnessy. While Katie and Ailie have large amounts of international experience, Josie and Neala are relative newcomers to the international scene. Placing 6h and 10th respectively at the 2007 Squad Ranking Meet, the two youngsters are looking to make a name for themselves. So far teams from England, Ukraine, and the United States have confirmed their attendance and teams from Wales, Scotland, and the Isle of Man also plan to attend.
