| Celebrating the poetry of Chloe Meakin |
| Welcome to Aslan Tree, a page dedicated to the poetry of Chloe Meakin. Hailed as an "exciting new voice", Chloe's work has featured in poetry magazines Fire, Tears In The Fence, Acid Angel, Brando's Hat, Poetry Monthly, Links and The Reater, as well as numerous books and anthologies. In 1996 she was shortlisted for the T.S. Eliot Poetry Prize. Her work is highly visual and occasionally experimental, but always with a grounding in the emotional. After looking around the site I'm sure you'll agree that she really is a poet for the 21st century. Here, we hope to bring you the latest from the pen of this exciting young poet, as well as news and reviews of her work. Thank you for visiting Aslan Tree. Please sign the guestbook before you leave! |
