Ephraim Forbush (David, John,Daniel)
Born October 18, 1756 married Mary Buttrick born 1755, died February 10, 1805.
In Harold Phalen's "History of the Town of Acton," Ephraim Forbush and Samuel Hayward perambulated the bounds between the town of Acton and what was to become the town of Boxborough. He had a horse shed (no. 13) at the new meeting house in 1825. In Rev. James Fletcher's "History of Acton" (1890) Ephraim is listed as having served in the Revolution. According to muster rolls, Ephraim was present at North Bridge in Concord on April 19, 1775.
He married Abigail Rogers (Buttrick) of Concord on April 1, 1806 in Concord in the presence of Rev. Ezra Ripley. Abigail died in Harvard, Mass. in 1832 at the age of 71. Ephraim built a house at 92 Martin St. for his son Abel.
He died February 17, 1828. Resident of Acton, Mass.i. Lucy, born August 8, 1785
