From his Obituary:
Mr. George Forbush age 37 years , 10 months , died last week Thursday. He had been ill with diabetes nearly three years , but he kept about and at work so resolutely that very few realized how sick he was . His funeral was largely attended at the church on Sunday afternoon, the pastor and Rev. Mr. Wood officiating.The departed leaves a widow and four interesting.They have the sympathy of the community to a marked degree. Mr.Forbush had an insurance of $1000 upon his life, which will relieve what otherwise might be a pressing want.
He was a member of the Acton Center Improvement Society.
George E. married Anna R. Goulding of Boston (January 15 1876).
He died Feb. 21 1889.
