We the Commissioners of Common Schools
for the town of Plattekill have with the
acquiessence of the Commissioners of Com
mon Schools of the town of NewBurgh
agreed to set off Jonathan Thorne from school
district No 1 of the town of Plattekill to School
district No 7 of the town of NewBurgh the
said Jonathan Thorne is Situate and bounded
as follows on the south by the Newburgh town
line by the lands of John T Birdsall on the
East by the lands of Zopher Green on the
North lands of Daniel Slotte and Thomas
Merritt and on the west by the lands of
Simon Wood and we order the same to
be Recorded in each of the respective town
Books Given under our hands this 31
day of January 1823

We the undersigned trustees of school district No 7 in
in the town of Newburgh do agree to the within
named Jonathan Thorne being annexed to our
District as with in Mentioned

By request we the commissioners of common
Schools for the town of Plattekill and by and
with the acquiessence of the comissioners of
common schools of the town of Newburgh
have set off Anthony Prestler from school
district No 1 of the town of Plattekill to school
No 5 of the town of Newburgh said Presler
livith situate and Bounded as followeth on
the west by the lands of A. Ross and Isaac
Halsted north by John Smith east by Wm
Penny south by John Halsted and we
the said commissioners order the same to be
recorded in each of our respective town books
