Psalm 23:1, "Jehovah is my Shepherd. I shall lack nothing." Psalm 80:1, "O Shepherd of Israel, do give ear…" It is clear from these two verses that Jehovah is the Shepherd. Now look at John 10:11, "I am the fine Shepherd…" Now look at verse 14, "I am the fine Shepherd, and I know my sheep and my sheep know me." Now look at Hebrews 13:20, "Now may the GOD of Peace, who brought up from the dead the Great Shepherd of the Sheep…" Ask, How can Jesus claim the same title used of Jehovah? If Jesus was indeed GOD in the flesh which 1Timothy 3:16 states then doesn’t this make more sense?
