2 Corinthians 3:17, "Now Jehovah is the spirit; and where the spirit of Jehovah is, there is freedom." Now look at John 4:24, "God is a Spirit" Now Ephesians 2:18, "Because through him we, both peoples, have the approach to the Father by one spirit." Now 4:4, "One body there is, and one spirit…" Ask, would you agree that there is only ONE Spirit and it is Jehovah? Now go to 1 Corinthians 3:16, "Do you not know that you people are GOD’s temple, and that the spirit of GOD dwells in you?" Ask, according to this verse whose spirit dwells in you? Now look at Romans 8:9, "However, you are in harmony, not with the flesh, but with the spirit, if GOD’s spirit truly dwells in you. But if anyone does not have Christ’s spirit, this one does not belong to Him." According to this verse it is God’s spirit that dwells in you and then in the same verse it says it is the Spirit of Christ that you must have. The question is; How many Spirits are there? According to Ephesians 4:4 which we already read above states that there is only ONE Spirit. Now look at Romans 8:11, "If, now, the spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwells, in you, He that raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also make your mortal bodies alive through His spirit that resides in you." Ask, according to this verse would you agree that GOD’s spirit is the one that dwells in you? Now look at Galatians 4:6, "Now because you are sons, GOD has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts…" Ask, are there two Spirits that dwell in you? Jesus’ or GOD’s? Now look at Ephesians 3:17, "To have the Christ dwell through [your] faith in your hearts…" It seems clear that We are to have the Spirit of Christ in us, and the Spirit of GOD in us, this is not a problem if Jesus is as HE is indeed GOD in the flesh.
