Gladys and Sigrid visited the Philippines during Christmastime 2002. The
photos here are of our 3-day trip to Cebu and Bohol with Tito Meo and his
four kids, Mia, Patoys, Julia, and Yeli. In Cebu, we visited tons of places:
a fort; a monument to Magellan's landing on Cebu in 1521; a Buddhist temple;
the highest point of the island; and a bunch of sea-side hotels just to see
the spectacular views. Then we took a ferry to Bohol, where we went to see
Tarsiers, the smallest monkeys in the world (they're tiny!) and the famous
Chocolate Hills which weren't very chocolatey-looking that time of year; and
then we had an amazing lunch on a riverboat. Thanks, Tito Meo (especially
for feeding Gladys's enormous appetite)!
