Building Autofest City has involved hours of dedicated work. We hope visiting Autofest City on the Net, will be interesting, and enjoyable to just anyone who may or may not be deeply interested in automobiles. Each display has the model's technical details, a miniature flag of the country of origin, photos of the actual car where available, and a credit to the patron who was instrumental in getting us the model. The Workshop Scenes, the Ferrari Collection and the GP Race Track is Scale 24, housed in a display case. The Scale 40 and 43 models are in a 16 ft. x 6 ft. display case backed by street scenes; buildings crafted from thermacole add colour and real-life effect to the whole. Displays at Autofest City are constantly evolving, thanks to the Internet and the new models that keep coming in; we always add something new that interests. Hence pictures in this site are just from a stage in the evolution of Autofest City. Neil & Clyde thank their mother Tessy D'Costa for her unstinted support, especially for contributing her outstanding art for the 'Welcome' and all other backdrops. They are specially grateful to all the Patrons of Autofest City who have contributed their very best - from raw material to models, to make this collection quite remarkable. |
