of the Week Award
| This week we have selected
someone near and dear to our hearts in the Communications department. We
are proud to announce that this week's Instructor of the Week Award goes
to Mr. Jerome G. Chandler.
Mr. Chandler has been teaching in the Communications department at JSU since 1987. He received his B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin and and M.P.A from Jacksonville State University. He teaches some of the required courses for a major in Communications such as Intro to Mass Comm., Broadcast Writing, Intro to Audio Production, Comm. Ethics and Comm. Law. As Communication majors, we feel strongly that the main reason we chose to pursue this field after taking the required Intro to Mass Comm. course was because Mr. Chandler got us excited about the possibilities open to us in Communications. He is very passionate about his work and extremely entertaining. Students can express themselves freely through the various projects he assigns in his classes. We rate him a 3 Sheets++++++++++. He is truly worth your time and effort. |
