Distribution of Wealth II

The distribution, D2, below is more linear then D1. By surveying the market it is possible to determine the actual Distribution of Wealth for various products groups.

The advantage of depicting the Distribution of Wealth as Price vs Population is that at a glance we can observe how rich a population sample is. The amount of money available is directly related to the height of the curve. The higher the curver the larger the area under the curve will be and hence the spending/purchasing power of the population sample. Therefore we can make comparisons with different age groups, education levels, regions and so on. This would help build a picture of where the money is when advertising or running promotional campaigns.
