| I've been collecting records for
some 30 years and one of the things that's come to fascinate me are banned,
altered and withdrawn record covers (yeah, I need to get a life). It's simply amazing how
many rock album covers have been banned over the years. Sure, some probably
deserved the fate, but the vast majority seem
pretty innocuous to my middle class tastes and values. There's no way this
short list is anywhere near complete, but it highlights some of my personal
favorites. Who knows, maybe I can score a book deal out of this some time
... any editors out there? By the way, if you're aware of covers
that deserve to be on the list, send me a note and I'll add 'em to the site.
