Fortunately, it had been raining good for the last few days,
so we went looking for the slimiest trails we could find.
And find them we did. We also found a rocky creek, so of
course, we jumped in! You had to be careful of the many,
large rocks that wanted to punch a good hole in your front
diff cover. After foraging around for a while on an
adrenaline high, we headed for the hills.

Now, the "hills" in Attica are not exactly "mountainous" in
size, but they make up for it in steep, off-camber, rocky,
tree-lined treachery. Amazingly, nobody got stuck, and so
we decided to count our good fortune and return to camp,
since night was approaching, and we had all signed up for a
night run.

Back at camp, we met up with Doug and Jo Couch with their
Sammi, sans doors. Doug had *just* gotten done straightening
out the body on his truck, which he had broad-slid into a
tree a few short weeks before. Of course, we goaded them
into going on the night run with us, after re-counting the
days' tales to our wide-eyed newcomers. As it turned out,
the night run was a flop, basically a tour across the dunes,
waiting for long periods of time while stock vehicles made
multiple futile attempts at climbing the dunes.

We jumped ship.
