The "Badlands" Attica, Indiana

I led the pack back out on the trail - and into a pretty
hairy part of the creek - it's kinda deep, and there are
plenty of rocks to smash your pumpkin, but nobody did. From
there, we went to do some rock climbing, where it can get
hairy, because the "rock" is mostly limestone, and quite
unstable. After trying a few of the easier climbs, Chad in
the TJ decides to try dropping into a ditch, which with some
torn plastic, and bent fender, nearly results in an endo! We
had to stabilize him with a strap at the top, and pull the
nose sideways to get him down.

Dana radioed that they had fixed the driveshaft, but we were
running out of daylight, so it was a sprint back to camp, and
then everybody out for about another 45 minutes before we
called it quits for the day. Fajitas and Beer followed at my
friend Stacey's house, and she was kind enough to let us crash
on the floor of her house.

Sunday was better weather yet, and one of the TJs decided to
lead us thru the woods for a while. Not very exciting, until
I decide to put a wheel right in the middle of a small puddle
that they straddled, and nearly drop the Sammi on it's side -
YOW that's DEEP! I was able to rock out of it, then Dana
does the same thing, only he's stuck! When we tug him out,
we realize why - RR tire has popped off the bead - DOH!
Lucky for him he carries a full-size spare.

A while later we wind our way to the riverbed, and it gets
muddy - Fast! This is what Dana and Shane are used to and go
nutso. They succeed in burying the Sammi (with 7" of lift,
mind you) up to the top of the wheelwells - stuck HARD! In
the process of getting tugged out, winds up bending one of
the S/R towers that his bumper is attached to - whoops! Also
busted a lower shock mount about the same time - is there a
pattern emerging here?
