April
28, 2006- The BFL just can't keep it's Hall of Famers Retired. The
Dragons game back after missing the 2004 season due to college.
Howie is always quarterbacking games. And now after a major announcement,
you add Jason of the Melody to the list.
After
the league learned the Hustlers will be not participating in the
league this season. Jason considered the idea of a comeback. After
doing some basic BFL drills and playing an exhibition game, Jason
decided that he is ready to make the return.
Jason,
at 27, will be the oldest player of the season. However, he may
not have the most experience dispit having 5 seasons and a BFL championship
under his belt. Teams such as the Sand Storm, the Fear, who joined
in 2002, will have been playing in their 6th season aswell.
The
Melody, known for there fun style of play, will be back calling
the same trick plays, and a mix of non conventional plays.
But
don't be fooled by his wacky "cable box" plays, when the
game is on the line, the Melody can step it up. Jason, back in 2000,
started the season with a tie, and then won 4 straight before bringing
in a BFL Championship with the Black Knights in BFL Bowl III.
Check
back soon to see how adding the Melody, will make a major switch
the 2007 schedule.
