From Christchurch

1.) Leaving Christchurch, travel WEST via the Arthurs Pass road (State Highway 73).

2.) From the summit of Arthurs Pass, the descent into the West Coast takes you through Otira, and after approx. 20 minutes you will reach the Jackson's Tavern. Turn RIGHT approx 1km past the tavern, sign-posted Lake Brunner/Rotomanu/Moana.

3.) In approx. 4 km you will reach a "T" intersection, turn RIGHT towards Moana/Greymouth as per the signposts. Follow the main road around past Lake Poerua, through Rotomanu, and LEFT towards Moana as per signposts.

4.) 5 kms before Moana is a turn-off to the LEFT signposted Cashmere Bay Road, Te Kinga.

6.) Travel 1km down under the rail overbridge, then over the Crooked River bridge and on into the village. We are located at 109 Cashmere Bay Road.

From Greymouth

1.) Travel north via the inland route up the east side of the Grey River through Dobson and Brunner.

2.) At Stillwater, approx. 18kms from Greymouth, turn RIGHT towards Moana, a further 24 kms.

3.) Pass through Moana (and Ruru), and 5 kms later, on the top of a small rise, a side road to the RIGHT - signposted "Cashmere Bay Road" - takes you into the village of Te Kinga.

4.) Travel 1km down under the rail overbridge, then over the Crooked River bridge and on into the village. We are located at 109 Cashmere Bay Road.

TranzAlpine

The TranzAlpine train departs Christchurch daily at 9am, reaching Greymouth at 1:30 pm. We are happy to collect you from the railway station at Moana, or Greymouth. The TranzRail free phone for bookings is 0800 802 802.

Alpine Bus Services

Alpine Coaches operate a daily bus service through Lake Brunner, departing daily from Christchurch at 2:45 pm, arriving at the lake at 6pm. Return trips to Christchurch depart from the lake at 9am. Alpine Coaches can be contacted for bookings on free phone 0800 274 888
