About the Goddess INU and the mission of her temple

The Goddess INU is the feminine aspect of NU who is the God of the primal abyss. She is the personification of what the ancients called the Inundation. To them this term was a metaphor for the delusion of that ‘separatness’ arising from the fall of spirit into the abyss, which perpetually brings the universe into being.

She is thus the universal realifying power. That works to manifests the causal matrix by which all things are made to have independent existence, and through which all their desires. In the form of the 'ANNIHILATION' (above) she embodies the great truth of MAA-T: that creation is a reflection of consciousness and that consciousness arises from and returns to the abyss of the NU in perpetuity.

In the form of the 'MYSTERIOUS ONE' she embodies the primal womb in which the cycles of conscience into and out of the abyss translates themselves into the time, space, breath, and form. In this form she frees all beings to manifest themselves in accord with their will and desire to be and become.

In the form of the goddess 'NUT' she embodies the mundane cycles of nature in which the wisdom of the divine is veiled. And through which all things are moved along their destined path. In this form she gently teaches each being the truth of creation and in this way moves all creation towards enlightenment.

Her consort is MER who is the manifestation of the will and desire to be and become housed within all things. In his aspect called Mehen he is the desire for unity of purpose and design throughout eternity. In his lessor aspect called Apep he is the desire for entropy and dissolution.

The Goddess has charged this temple with the protecting 12 veils of negation. These are gateways to the void... cracks in the fabric of creation that work to both partition and bind the various dimensions of being one to the other. Death, rage, orgasm, ecstasy, deep meditation, and trance: each of these states opens the door to one of these veils, and each of these modes of passage we are charged to master.

We seek to protect the innocent from their misuse by others of evil intent. And help those who are lost in the intensity of the Veils to find their way back to healing and normality if such is their desire. In order to be able to fulfill this charge we are trained to linger in the intensity of the moment that bridges each Veil. Indefinitely straddling the brake between being and none being until our work is done. Not in a state of deluded intoxication, but awake and aware between those awesome extremes.

Only by willful dissolution of the ego can we consciously enter the veils, and only through total submission to the unconditional loving nature of reality can we survive with our sanity intact.

The Veils are multidimensional and permeate all things. The first step in mastering them without, is to harmonize their resonance within. This is the first task of the priestess and central to this task is confronting fears and inhibitions through saturation of sensation. In this way all blockages to psychic development are removed at their core. Then dynamic application of unconditional love works to create the sacred space necessary for integration to occur.

Unconditional Love means: To give love without limit or condition and, in accord with each individuals boundaries and innate potential for spiritual growth. Like the Love of the Goddess which sustains all creation , it is a love free of manipulation, control or obsession whose form changes with the time and circumstance.

Meeting, parting , sexuality, sensuality, giving, withholding, destruction, creation, all these and more can be expressions of unconditional love if they are done in harmony with each individuals boundaries and innate potential for spiritual growth. (It is a difficult Ideal to aspire to in this age.)

The Kemetic tantric tradition is a pagan tradition, and all pagan practices are fertility based. The ultimate goal of this temple to work with the life force so as to promote harmonious growth in all things.

To this end our temple promotes healing and growth through all forms of creative endeavor.(In particular the healing and creative arts) And encourages in its' membership a wholistic, poly-amorous life style which stresses spirituality, comitment, and sexual equality, freedom and responsibility.
