The members of the Monastic order offer their mundane
works to the deity and in so doing they venerate the deity as she manifests herself in all things.
The goddess and god embody the whole of reality. When taking their vows the aspirant seeks to consummates a tantric union or marriage with the deity by pledging to offer the energies of their mundane works and desires to the service of her law. The stress is on purity of diet purity of action and reverence of life including relationships and sexuality at all times.
Entry into the order begins with self initiation into the 3 year trial period prior to full initiation. After self initiation the aspirant must register with the temple. After the three year trial period any Nun or Monk of INU may be formally initiated by priest/ess of the temple, or can extend their probationary period another three year s by renewing their vows and re-registering with the temple.
The monastic order has their own set of texts which stress diet, meditation, purification of body and mind through the alchemy of the senses.
