Yes, they’re shows like Buffy The Vampire Slayer and The X-Files that tell us about creepy monsters. That’s where all our information comes from. They tell us about how vampires can’t get hit by sunlight and a werewolf can only come out during a full moon. And always they tell us that the things we see on TV are just make-believe.
What if I told you that none of that is true? How do we know that a vampire cannot go out in the sunlight or that a vampire sleeps in a coffin? What if I told you vampires can walk and talk in the sunlight? That they don’t sleep in a coffin. Maybe, just maybe, all supernatural beings are real. Would you believe me?
People don’t realize that what you see and hear on TV is just a bunch of shit. Vampire’s can do almost everything a normal human being can do. We can see our own reflections. We can walk and talk in the sunlight. We can eat other foods. We can’t fly and we’re not cold and ghostly pale. We do have supernatural strength and heal pretty fast, though.
What are the only two things that people say that are true? Blood and immortality. Blood is the only way a vampire can survive. It doesn’t matter where you get it. You can go down to a hospital or even go to a meat market. As long as you have blood, you can live on forever.
Now, I’m not saying to go outside at dark and get yourself killed, so you can become a vampire. Cause when you do, you lose half of your soul. Yes, on Buffy it says you lose your whole soul, but this is reality. See, you still have half of your soul, but the other half is gone. So, you have one side of your conscience that’s evil. And the other side, you still have you.
Have you ever tried stopping yourself, being something you aren’t? Have you ever had the urge or temptation to do something your not supposed to do? Well, this is even worse. Having your conscience nagging you everyday, telling you to kill, kill, kill… eventually you just give in, and when you do, you can’t ever go back. And if you just ignore your conscience, you simply go insane.
