Sarg 99 - Raam-Raavan Fight

Raavan said to his Saarathee - "Take my chariot in the battlefield. Today I will take revenge of all killings. I will kill Raam and Lakshman along with their chief Vaanar." Saarathee took his chariot towards Raam. All directions echoed with the sound of Raavan's chariot. Seeing Raavan coming Vaanar ran away. Raam convinced His army to fight.

Raavan scattered all Vaanar army and looked at Raam and Lakshman. Seeing Raavan coming Raam produced sound from His bow, and Lakshman started showering arrows. Raavan stopped those arrows, ignored Lakshman and came to Raam. He shot arrows at Raam. Raam failed Raavan's arrows. Thus both started fighting. All got afraid to see this fight because it darkened all around. Both fought bravely and fiercely, because both were good warriors and fighters.

Raavan shot arrows at Raam's head. They covered Raam's head but didn't pierce his body. Then Raam shot five arrows at Raavan's head and piercing his head they entered Prithvi. Raavan got angry with these arrows so he used other weapons which also Raam failed. Seeing failing his weapons Raavan got angrier.

Sarg 100 - Raavan Uses Amogh Power on Lakshman

Raavan used many weapons on Raam but Raam failed all of them with Devtaa's and Gansdharv's weapons. At this Raavan shot 10 arrows at Raam's delicate body parts. Lakshman got very angry seeing this, so He cut the flag of Raavan's flag with seven arrows, killed his Saarathee and cut his bow. Vibheeshan killed his horses. Raavan shot a Power on Vibheeshan. Seeing that Power, Lakshman shot three arrow and destroyed it.

Raavan used Amogh named Power on Vibeeshan, Lakshman hid him with His arrows and thus saved him. Raavan said to Lakshman - "You have saved brother Vibheeshan from this Power, that is why now I will use this Power on you. This will surely kill you." And he released that Power on Lakshman. Seeing this Raam read - "May your Power go waste and Lakshman be all right." That Power hit Lakshman's chest and ripped off His chest. He fell down.

Seeing this Raam got very sad. He pulled out the Power from Lakshman's body and broke it an anger. Raam broke this Power because otherwise it would have returned to the sender (enemy) after killing. When Raam was busy with the Power, Raavan shot many arrows at Him. Raam said to Sugreev and Hanumaan - "You take care of Lakshman. This is my time to show my bravery and might, and I promise that you will see this world either without me or without Raavan. I will take the revenge of whatever sorrows and troubles I have tolerated in forest because of him, today by killing him, therefore he cannot escape today. Hey Vaanar, now you sit on the mountain comfortably and see my fight."

Then Raam showered arrows on Raavan, Raavan showered Moosal. Raam again showered arrows. Seeing this Raavan ran away from the battlefield.
